Your Milky Way Horoscope Jan. 25-31
The New Moon on Jan. 26 is a solar eclipse. This is at 6 degrees Aquarius, at 2:56 am EST, conjunct Jupiter at almost 5 degrees Aquarius plus the North Node at 9 degrees Aquarius. It will also be the Chinese New Year (4707) of the Ox. Traditional Chinese set out food and drink to bribe the kitchen god so they will have a fortunate year.
The eclipse opposes the eclipse point of August 1, 2008 – so if you can remember what issue was being dealt with then, you can expect another edition of the same (only different). Maybe legal matters begun then will resolve, or an agreement made then will have to be reworked. The Sun and Jupiter are square to the asteroid Vesta; Vesta rules home and hearth, security concerns, service and service groups, personal sacrifices. Take a clue from whatever house Vesta occupies (at 4 degrees Taurus).

Astrological Birth Data for American Presidents Washington thru Clinton
Here is the basic data about each of the president’s birth dates and some notes on transits on election day or during the year they ran. In some cases I have made other notes about notable events or trivia but had to keep this short.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Jan. 18-24
Venus conjoins Uranus, and the Sun joins Jupiter. The year is off to a brighter start than you might expect. Enjoy simple times with friends and family, work on fulfilling arts or crafts, borrow a comedy film from the library, and let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
The Sun enters Aquarius Monday, the sign of the United States’ natal Moon. It is perhaps fitting that the inauguration will be this week, as the presidency represents all Americans’ hopes and wishes, and the president embodies the public’s feelings about the country. I have written a brief treatment of the Obama inauguration chart as a separate article, so do look for it.
While the stock market may be without direction for a few months yet, the Venus cycle indicates another bull market should start about April sometime and last till at least the end of the year. Until then, I think that Wall Street will be in a wait-and-see mode in regards to the new president.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Jan. 11-17
Hope you enjoyed the perigee Full Moon on Jan. 10! NASA has a story about the Perigee here at http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/08jan_bigmoon2009.htm Enjoy.
Yech, Mercury goes retrograde again on Sun., Jan. 11 at 11:43 am Eastern at almost 7 degrees Aquarius. It will re-enter Capricorn on Jan. 20, just after conjuncting the Sun in Aquarius that morning. Other milestones include a Sun-Jupiter conjunction on Jan. 24, Mercury going direct on Feb. 1 at 21 Capricorn, and a Mercury-Jupiter conjunction on Feb. 24. The Jupiter conjunctions are generally promising if you are looking to sell your product or service, tho when Merc is retrograde you will likely have to mark down the price to move it.
Mercury retrograde in Aquarius can lead one to speak too much in the abstract and forget to include sensitivity to the real emotional needs of the audience. Mercury retrograde in Capricorn can make one try to set oneself up as an authority, assuming an authoritarian attitude, and a resulting alienation and loss of credibility.
