Third Week November 2007

November 14, 2007 at 12:55 pm

One of the big influences this week is a real man-woman tension/attraction dynamic. Sparks can fly when introduced to new faces. That does not mean that all goes smoothly, relationship-wise. One party may still be licking his or her wounds from the last breakup, or may lose phone numbers, etc. But keep in touch with mutual friends because you will hit the right timing later.
Those at group meetings on Monday night hear a call to action. Organizers have little trouble getting volunteers for grass-roots efforts. Wednesday is good for announcements of new inventions and other innovations.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Serge Lifar – On Tuesday, you get lots done without interruptions. Wednesday morn your spouse has some other ideas for the agenda, which may involve dragging you along to a group you see as fuzzy-headed practitioners of escapism. Not your cup of tea at all; you can either earn ‘good spouse’ points or find an excuse not to go. A weekend trip to the lake recharges your batteries. Unattached Arians can fall for someone they meet at the bank.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Margot Fonteyn – Thurs. & Fri. are your best days this month. You could be in motion all week, buzzing around on errands and deliveries. Take time for a beautiful haircut mid-week; make sure to peek at a computer image of yourself with the new do before cutting. Settling in with a classic movie appeals to you Thurs. evening. Got popcorn? On Friday, be sure to attend the civic or club meeting; you’ll pick up juicy factoids and make great contacts.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Henry LeTang – Home feels confining. I see you chilling out at the movies a lot this week, and you’ll actually find some films you enjoy. Save a few bucks by borrowing DVDs from the library. Saturday is a Super Full Moon in your sign. Pressure to decide whether you are going to follow your unique life path, or just follow the crowd, is high. Learn from past lessons, and plot your course anew.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Twyla Tharp – Investigate local classes or opportunities to assist at your children’s school. Their training for teaching assistants may inspire you to get your own teaching certificate. You have a lot of skills to share with the next generation, and fostering children’s sense of competence and self-reliance are huge assets to building self-esteem. PS – Nothing stops you this week.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Leonide Massine- You’re not known as a homebody, but this week home is the best place for you to shine. It helps people to know where to find you, and your house is always open to anyone who wants to pay homage to you. You also may be involved in renovating the place in advance of the holidays; a bigger party room, or maybe a playroom for the kids, is high on your list of needs.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Thierry Sirou – Interesting developments in your speaking and consulting career. An interview or newspaper story puts you in the public eye, and the speaking calendar is pretty busy. Virgos usually prefer something on paper to keep track of appointments, so whatever works for you is fine. Home is still where your heart is, tho you may dream of a bigger house.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Fayard Nicholas – Your muse draws closer to you this week. If you work in the music field, possibly you swing toward jazz or global rhythms. If in photographic or graphic arts, more computerized, collage-type graphic techniques fascinate you. Old-fashioned painting with brush and oils or inks still does it for you in your off hours. Your home, and home studio, are sacred retreats where you recharge your batteries. PS – A VERY interesting someone enters your circle as a result of your career. Make sure to get his or her card.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Eleanor Powell – Action comes from calling up the community college or signing on for online classes. You’ll benefit from the mental stimulation, research opportunities, and new contacts. Also creative expression blossoms, and you find your own voice getting stronger. Make space for artistic work in your schedule. You can find an instructor who inspires as well as teaches.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Merrill Ashley – Your feelings bounce from home to career, career to home. It’s hard to juggle the two, because it seems like career demands that your family comes last. Spend quality time with your family instead of checking emails every 10 minutes. You could even take them camping instead of shopping, and the kids would learn life skills that no money can buy. You might be surprised at how much you enjoy camping, too.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Debbie Allen – It’s a very conflict-filled week. Not that people are at each others’ throats, but you have to get everyone focused on the goal and away from their little distractions. A lot of messages flying around, mostly very good news – altho its too early to celebrate a victory. Those of you in college make good progress toward your final degree; you fly thru term papers and exams.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Gregory Hines – Your energy is not what it should be? Consider getting a checkup to find out what the problem is. Make a food journal and note everything you eat. Are you feeling sluggish after sweets or junk? Make some changes, learn to make your own (healthier) treats, and look forward to active golden years. Aquarians are usually very health conscious, but darn can they ever have a sweet tooth.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Rudolf Nureyev – You feel like kicking over the traces and making a run for it. But are you running toward something or just away from something? Your answer will determine whether your run is a step forward or back for you. A fight and tears are in store late Monday if you cannot accept self-discipline. I’m guessing this means you blow the family budget — stay out of malls!

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
