Your Milky Way Horoscope

By Milky Way Maid

Happy Spring Equinox this Thursday the 20th!!! The Spring Equinox is when the Sun enters Aries, so happy birthday to all the fiery Arians. This is followed by the Full Moon on the 21st, at one degree Libra. This can be a touchy day for Librans, so avoid any verbal spats at all costs. Avoid somebody else’s power plays, and dance on the diplomatic high wire. Time of day given in any case is Eastern Time, so please adjust accordingly if you live in another time zone. Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop.

This week’s bonus feature: Check out the website Spiral Goddess Grove, at SpiralGoddess.com. It has all kinds of goddess info to help you tune into your style of relating to social, societal and relationship matters. There are fun activities like making yourself a goddess mask, or selecting items for a virtual altar.

Aries – March 20-April 19 – The Sun enters your sign early am on Thursday. This begins a solar month of pushing forward with your plans for the year. Friday looks like you will break ground for your pet project and work a long. You will dig in your heels to get the first phase done before day’s end, pacing yourself and directing others, if needed, safely and efficiently.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Monday can bring a bit of luck, possibly a free gift or cashing in your flyer miles. Taking your mom out to dinner is lucky, too. If you have been waiting for an insurance claim to be paid, this week is good time to followup with a phone call. Career matters can be frustrating if promoting yourself, but flow better if you focus on service.Gemini – May 21-June 20 – The first part of the week is busier than usual with messages an possibly visits with friends. I’m thinking it’s a good opportunity to have face time with a mentor, or someone who is a an officer in a social or business association. It’s a good week also for conferring with the contractor about renovations to the home. Follow up on insurance or legal matters.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Tuesday morning is a real delicate time — great for forceful expression of your thoughts and feelings, but maybe you might write down all that in an email, and then delete it. That will vent your frustrations, and give you a chance to compose something a bit more diplomatic, shall we say? With great success, I might add.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – St. Patrick’s Day comes with the Moon in your sign this year; you might get your picture in the paper as a parader or wearing a suitable layer of green makeup. Be creative as you wish in showing how Irish you are. The fun and games feed your creativity all the next day (Tues.) so be sure to make notes to catch the stream of ideas.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – All this week but especially Wednesday favor disciplined work toward a goal. You’re capable of long hours now, altho you probably would never break your health regimen which you swear by. You won’t be all alone if you ask others to pitch in; your focus and quiet determination can win support.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Friday and the weekend are your best days all month. Actually Friday may feel a bit rough, and you could get into a bit of a tug-of-war, but some things need to be said and I am sure you can finesse the situation with diplomacy. Late eve or midnight may find you jumping the gun on a project; wait till everyone is on board before embarking on it. Saturday is great for writing or revising creative projects, and you will be very pleased at the end of a long day at it. Make sure you’ve backed up your revisions!

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Your Fifth House is very active this month; this covers areas like children, creative projects, fun ‘n’ games like parties or gambling, and affairs of the heart. While Monday can be frustrating trying to catch someone in the office, things get better all week and Monday the 24th is great for conferences, romantic or otherwise, with those dear to you. Plan outings together for breakfast, or for a creative activity on Saturday the 22nd.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Your finances are due for changes; schedule time with a certified advisor to adapt to changing market conditions. You will probably be urged to take action Friday but do so only if you had already made that decision; acting prematurely is never wise. Decisions made (or events) on Wednesday or Thursday look more promising, especially those related to career.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Early Tuesday puts you in a creative mood; maybe sneak in some journaling time before work. Thursday goes swimmingly with imaginative bull sessions, or business presentations. It may be the better part of valor to yield rather than hold your ground on Friday; being stubborn may result in something like an accident where two cars tried to occupy the same space at one moment — kablam!

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – You are in a very humanitarian mood this week, but try not to finance the world’s needy unless you head a large foundation! Are you too apt to forgive someone taking advantage of you? Might you establish some ground rules for doing favors for friends? Small loans are OK, but something larger might give you grounds to hold something as collateral till paid off.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – You are in a long period of being either upset by everything or achieving a wonderful sense of continual inspiration; work on gaining a spiritual perspective adds immensely to your equanimity. Monday the 17th will be rather like talking to a stone wall with Mercury in your sign opposing Saturn in Virgo. Tuesday morning, when Mercury trines Mars, will be far better for talk, for simply venting to a friend, or working out your frustrations on housework. Might I also suggest beginning a swimming program for fitness?

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
