Second Week of April

Your Milky Way Horoscope

By Milky Way Maid

This is a busy week astrologically, especially for Arians. Venus is inconjunct Saturn Monday, so play with a creative way to give tribute to a classic; you might also take care to feed your bones good nutrients!. Wednesday morn is great for a visit to a practitioner of the healing arts, such as acupuncture or massage therapy. Thursday morn take not to overdo, and the afternoon can find you short-tempered and hasty in speech. Remember, everyone, make your words soft and sweet, because you may have to eat them later!

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop.

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Most of the above applies to you, Aries. You set the tone for each day of the week so make it a positive and cooperative one. This is your month and you can accomplish a great deal if you put together a team and let each member do their part. Your spirits should improve with constructive visits to alternative health practitioners Wednesday morn and possibly also late Saturday.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Monday and Tuesday are very good days for you this month. Check off items from your to-do list Monday, because your energy and discipline are high. Avoid hard candy, tho, because you are prone to chipping a tooth now. Tuesday morning is terrific. You might feel out of sorts early, but checking the internet for information yields some nuggets which you can apply to your life promptly.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – The middle of the week provides the best days of the month for Geminis. A parent or other authority figure may lay down the law or insist on a deadline, but a friend helps you get the work done. Thursday gets off to a good start with an appt. with a healing practitioner or a tai chi class, then you buddy up with a friend to break down your mountain of work into manageable ‘baby steps’. Amazing how that really works!

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Monday evening may find you in a frenzy of baking or cooking a week’s supply of meals. The moon is in your sign from Thursday evening thru Saturday. Thursday night a heart-to-heart talk with your spouse gives you a chance to say what needs to be said. A woman boss may give a difficult assignment Friday, — just get in gear to do it instead of stewing all day.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Follow the dream, with discipline. Finding the right training program to develop your talents may be closer than you think, so check around your area. Even if your goal is just to run a school play or perform in a local troupe, you can go a lot further than you ever hoped. Creative crafts also favored this Thursday morn.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Creative partnerships with Capricorn will analyze the nitty-gritty of social structures and bonds. Such a partnership can be durable and very successful if you can stand the intensity. Venus also provides an active, driving influence now that it is in Aries.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Continue to experiment with film and music media because Neptune in your solar fifth house provides lots of inspiration. You may combine the Aquarian and Piscean influences by going into therapeutic fields like music therapy or art therapy. The very active Seventh House/Aries can bring a basketful of messages, good wishes, small gifts and opportunities to be in public this month.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Taking on debt in order to go to college looks inevitable this year, but still keep plugging away at scholarship applications and other funding. Assistance may come from local or state-based vocational offices. Computer games take your mind off your worries while waiting for replies, and improve your reaction time, too.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Sags tend to be too blithe about financial matters, believing that better times are ahead anyway. But this is the time to take a more businesslike approach to your personal record-keeping, so enroll in a local class and learn how to go on a ‘money diet’. You’ll still have plenty of time this week for playing with the kids on Easter break.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Capricorns have always been such rocks of Gibraltar for family and community, tho now the world seems less certain and your doubts may also grow. It’s a good opportunity to learn introspection and inner balance as you follow your own moral compass through trying times. Home and family are your true solace and joy.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The North Node and Neptune in your sign pull you forward to grow into a better you, one who helps build a better society for all. You and a Pisces buddy enjoy attending local events and classes together in a mutual support network. Going on a debt diet will probably be on your agenda for the next two years.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Your creative energies demand expression this month so to keep them happy, enroll in a local arts class or just take a camera along with your walk/run. Find projects for the kids online and join in the fun. Your spouse or ex has gotten more demanding or laid down the law on your gallivanting around, so buckle down to spring cleaning bit by bit so you can have your time off with your pals.

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
