Your Milky Way Horoscope – April 27-May 3

By Milky Way Maid

The main news this week is that Venus enters Taurus Wednesday and quickly forms a trine to Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo. Earth sign types will be favored during this brief alignment Thursday (and while it is waxing), so roll out your website, blog about your book, and generally promote anything that you yourself have produced.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop

ARIES – March 20-April 19 – – The Moon enters your sign about dawn Friday and provides an extra fuel boost thru dawn Sunday. A Friday a.m. work project will need revision to get the boss’s OK. It looks like a pattern of revisions till you get approval will hold up thru Saturday, too. We know you could have been done with the job already, but that is just how it goes sometimes. Burn off some energy with an early Sunday run.

TAURUS – April 20-May 20 – Don’t make any decisions Tues. am.; your thinking is fuzzy or someone is not telling the whole truth. Tues. night you can write clear, forceful letters or just make an entry in your journal. Venus enters your sign Wednesday morning, making it a good day for haircuts or other makeovers. You might also receive gifts or other breaks. Thursday is a bit of a power day with Venus (with Sun and Moon nearby) trining Pluto and Saturn. Show what you can produce — get the website up, or start a company.

GEMINI – May 21-June 20 – – Mercury, your ruler and friend, enters your sign on Friday. While you are seldom at a loss for words, you might find that your words and thoughts come even more easily in May. Neptune in Aquarius has been trining your planets giving a more spiritual or inspirational flavor to your communications.

CANCER – June 21-July 22 – – Mars is entering the latter degrees of your sign; if it forms exact aspects to natal planets, this could bring wish fulfillment in the area of property but ask lots of questions about debt. Cancerians with natal planets in the 28th or 29th degree tend to accumulate quite a bit of property during their lifetimes, with the planet lending it character to the nature of Cancer’s personal empire.

LEO – July 23-Aug. 22 – Spring is not really your season, but you sure appreciate seeing the sun more now, and going outside to feel Old Sol warm your winter-chilled bones. Leos follow the sun, like a cat moving to stay in the sun’s beams while napping. I suspect this is why Leos love the spotlight; the man-made Sun shines on them all thru their performance. Venus entering your tenth house of career is a harbinger of good fortune; keep an eye peeled for auditions and interviews.

VIRGO – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Mercury entering your tenth house of career Friday puts an extra oomph into all your business communications, and I include your website in that category. Edit and polish; offer all your 2007 columns in a book; sign up for e-newsletters or a subscriber service for your website. What you produce has value, so incorporate yourself if you have to, to get value for your work.

LIBRA – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Neptune has a long-term transit in your fifth house of creativity, children and love matters. Your children may be quite artistic, but you, too, could learn to tap into your own creative well if enrolled in art classes. Painting, photography, poetry and music are all media ruled by Neptune. And even if you are in an art profession already, pushing your own limits or trying a new medium will allow you to maintain your enthusiasm for your career.

SCORPIO – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – A significant other may suddenly appear on the horizon now that Venus enters your opposite sign Taurus. This transit may also bring some small rewards or perks that bring notices from people in a position to help you. Pluto and Jupiter transiting your third house of communications, relatives and neighbors will make themselves felt. Your own personal expression will be transformed in a long process of personal evolution, possibly with the benefit of a mentor or teacher.

SAGITTARIUS – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Things go more pleasantly at work than they have in quite a while, with the benefit of a Venus transit. Enjoy this month-long respite while you can. Uranus in your fourth house Pisces can be upsetting to the homelife; electrical appliances can be quirky, family members may be estranged, etc. Install good surge protectors if you have not already done so. As for family relationships, look hard into the mirror to see if you have been the cause of any hurt.

CAPRICORN – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Pluto recently entered your Sun sign, and Jupiter has been lending its protective rays since late 2007. Pluto is generational issues, including evolution. Your own personal evolution is going to take place with or without permission — Pluto does not knock politely and ask! But he is patient if you are willing to become a better person. Hope I am not scaring you, but goll, Pluto can be such a pain in the buttski at times.

AQUARIUS – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon in your sign from Sunday night thru Tuesday puts you in a mood for cerebral matters. Good discussions on social issues are likely Monday, but don’t expect that stubborn friend to agree on everything. Tuesday is a bit problematic where your feelings are concerned; you may not be seeing things accurately so use a friend as a sounding board. Make adjustments in your handling of a workplace issue accordingly.

PISCES – Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in your sign from early Wednesday till dawn Friday. Powerful friends give you an assist Wed. altho you may still run into a brick wall from others. The evening is great for a neighborhood event. Your feelings could get jangled Thurs. afternoon even tho an event may not affect you directly — do those breathing exercises and you’re fine. Thurs. night your energies are high so enjoy swimming some laps or getting things done.

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
