While farmers and backyard gardeners with a traditional bent often plant and harvest, can food and set chickens, etc according to the lunar calendar, it is very rare for a COMPANY to do so. So it was very intriguing to come across this article today about a Belgian entity that brews beer by the moon’s cycle.
‘ “We made several tests and noticed that the fermentation was more vigorous, more active [during a full moon],” explained Roger Caulier, the owner of Brewery Caulier, which began in the 1930s when his grandfather started selling homemade beer from a handcart.’
