Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 6 looks rather interesting. The Sun-Mars conjunction in Aquarius trines Saturn at 17 degrees Libra in the wee hours (1:40 am), and Venus is square Jupiter at zero degrees Aries at 2:49 pm. The Moon is conjunct Uranus in Pisces in early afternoon, but moves into Aries and soon is conjunct Jupiter in Aries that night.

I am writing a separate article on the astrology of the 2011 Super Bowl, but as for mundane matters, these aspects are favorable for taking action and showing leadership.

Venus is conjunct Pluto at 6 degrees Capricorn at 8:52 pm Wednesday. (The Moon in Taurus trines the conjunction.) Well, this is a little too close for comfort to my third house cusp again. Recall how I told you the story of my computer getting zapped by an online attack under the Sun-Pluto conjunction. Venus conjunct Pluto represents intense feelings welling up, sometimes marred by jealousy or guilt or other fun stuff like that. Now, I am a little too old to do it in the car, which is another third-house interpretation. Perhaps a short trip is in order. I’ll tell ya what happens next.

A Moon-Neptune sextile very early Wednesday can bring interesting dreams; keep a notepad at bedside. Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar tenth house of career; possibly a coworker has a crush on you which becomes painfully apparent that day. Uh, handle it carefully and consult the employee handbook.

TAURUS – April 20-May 20 – The Moon is in Taurus from 6:22 am Wednesday till Friday afternoon. Moon trines Venus and Pluto in Capricorn Wednesday night; since it is in your fifth house, it sounds like a very heavy date, indeed. Thursday is kinda difficult: the Moon is inconjunct Saturn in your sixth house, where restrictions chafe you. And the Moon also squares Sun-Mars in Aquarius, your career house. This adds up to everything irritating you; careful not to lash out at coworkers, or it’s bye-bye. The Moon-Neptune square about midday Friday means stay alert if dashing out for lunch; no daydreaming!

GEMINI – May 21-June 20 – Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar eighth house of wills, contracts, insurance. A large insurance check may finally arrive, or battles over who gets what in your will can break out. The Moon is in Gemini from 5:20 pm Friday till next Sunday night. A Moon-Jupiter sextile brings late-night good-times with an Aries pal on Friday. Saturday morn’s aspects to Venus and Pluto may bring a beneficial visit to a health practitioner. Saturday night may be spent politicking or talking about serious issues, possibly on the internet; it’ll be a mega rap session. Next Sunday looks quite active …

CANCER – June 21-July 22 – Sunday has Moon-Jupiter in Aries squaring Venus in Capricorn in your solar seventh house of partners; your partner could be a key person to help you get your real career launched. Tuesday’s a high-energy day with the Aries moon sextile Sun-Mars; you could get a lot done at work or re writing a will or annuity contract. Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar seventh house of partners; conversation could take a serious turn tonight, and that could be for the good if you finally put the games aside.

LEO – July 23-Aug. 22 – The Moon trines Venus on Wednesday; you won’t feel like working except to spruce up the workplace. Wednesday night’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar sixth house of health and work. You may finally be willing to start eating healthy and pare the extra layers of lovable fat. The week throws you some challenges with the Moon in Taurus squaring your natal planets, and the Moon also squaring Sun-Mars in your opposite sign, Aquarius. So work and partnership issues are going to be the theme for the week. Your partner is just irritable, what with that high-energy Sun-Mars thing going on. Help him or her to burn off energy in games and such.

VIRGO – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar fifth house of children, art, recreation. It seems this kind of aspect lends itself more to love and sex issues, like are you going to settle down and get married, or, are you going to settle down and have kids? Be careful if tempted to give ‘the talk’ to your steady, or you could chase him away. The calendar means nothing to guys, so don’t say, we’ve been going together a year now, as if that means he has to give you a ring. It doesn’t.

LIBRA – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar fourth house of home and family. Don’t say anything you can’t take back, or someone could walk out, never to return. Your opposite sign is getting some high-energy transits early this week, so if you can stand him/her bouncing off the walls, it should be fun. Things calm down a bit later in the week, tho an air trine develops Saturday night. Moon in Gemini, trine Mercury in Aquarius, trine Saturn in your sign. Plus your natal planets, the air signs should have no problem brainstorming or running a rap session. Topic? How the internet is changing the English language?

SCORPIO – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar third house of transit, messages, and education. Have you paid your student loan bill lately? Better check that out. In other news, you are going to keep hitting the squares to Sun-Mars in Aquarius for a while, every time the Moon is in opposite sign Taurus. Right now your home life could be unusually energetic, with some risk of fire. A family member could be really irritable; talk things out with them. They don’t have a right to abuse other members of the family just because they’re in a bad mood, OK, but show that you care about what’s going on with them.

SAGITTARIUS – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar second house of money. Let’s hope it means something coming in instead of something going out. Sometimes both happen, canceling each other out — which is what I suspect may happen here. Hey, get a load of the grand air trine on Saturday night, because you could reap some benefit from it. Moon in Gemini, Merc in Aquarius, and Saturn in Libra; you or your partner could be in the public eye.

CAPRICORN – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon trines Venus on Wednesday night, possibly spurring you to redo the house, especially the den. Wednesday’s Venus-Pluto conjunction occurs in your solar first house of self; feeling lonely? Well, look in the mirror for the reason why. Reach out to those who mean something to you with something more personal than email. In other news, a Taurus may cost you some money whenever the Moon in the Bull squares Sun-Mars in your solar second house, Aquarius, like it does late Thursday. But he or she is worth it.

AQUARIUS – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon trines Venus on Wednesday night, possibly spurring you to redo the house, especially the den. The Moon squares that Sun-Mars conjunction in your sign late Thursday; are you the one who’s going to be the pain in the buttski? Sun-Mars usually brings either high energy or extreme irritability; which will it be? Work off frustrations in games and exercise, and keep an eagle eye out for safety. You can accomplish a lot this week if you can just simmer down and focus.

PISCES – Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces as the week begins, but only till early Sunday evening. It’s pretty interesting, though, with a Moon-Uranus conjunction at 2:13 pm starting a brief opportunity period.
