Your Milky Way Horoscope March 11-17, 2012

By Milky Way Maid

This week’s report is a bit truncated due to the fact I just caught a cold. Can’t think anymore. Achoo. Cough. Cough. Sniff.

On Sunday Mercury is conjunct Vesta in Aries and trine Juno in Sag. This Vesta in Aries drives for perfection, but Mercury almost immediately goes retrograde on her and makes a laughingstock of her perfect plans. Even with the best of helping partners formulating those plans (Juno), I think the result could be rather embarrassing. Wait till you run this by everyone, call it beta software — whatever will keep the egg off your face.

Mercury goes retrograde Monday at 3:49 am. Mercury is at 6 degrees 49 minutes of Aries, and will retrograde into Pisces by the weekend of the 24th. It will go direct again on Wednesday, April 4. Mercury will not reach the point at which it started going retrograde until April 23. Mercury retro is not the end of the world. For one thing, it is good for vacations because you know you will wind up where you started from – home. Also it can be good for finding out stuff you were not supposed to find out, due to another person’s slip of the tongue or whatever. BTW if you misplace things, Alphee Lavoie has a fine article on using horary to find lost items. It is at

Jupiter in Taurus trines Pluto at 9 degrees Capricorn at 12:43 am Tuesday. Venus trines Pluto at 9:27 pm the same day, and Venus conjoins Jupiter at 1:54 am Wednesday. PLUS, Venus trines Mars, and Mars trines Jupiter on Wednesday. The few days surrounding this aspect should be very powerful for all of you earth-sign people.

Mercury retrograde at 3 degrees Aries is conjunct Uranus at 1:22 pm NEXT Sunday. I wouldn’t be surprised if mechanical or electronic gadgets blow a fuse. Your own brain may be able to make leaps of logic without your conscious awareness of each step in your calculations.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.

ARIESMarch 20-April 19 – On Sunday, you may really get upset over an error in a bank statement. Mercury goes retrograde in your sign on Monday – and conjoins Uranus next Sunday. Get in the habit of considering your words before you speak, because your tendency here will be to say something off the top of your head – just be sure you know what you are saying. Saturday favors a sparkling night with friends; the banter will be really funny.

TAURUSApril 20-May 20 – On Sunday, you and your mate may really go over the top; hold on, whoa. Mercury goes retro in your solar twelfth house, which is probably a nice, secret place to have it occur. Your mixups are not found out by others! Search carefully thru things you put in the trash, lest you toss items of value. Make plans for a nice dinner out, just the two of you, on Friday.

GEMINIMay 21-June 20 – On Sunday, you may have to soothe someone close to you who is fretting about going in for medical testing. Mercury goes retro in your solar eleventh house of friends; there may be mis-communications over friends or club meetings. Verify meeting place and times, or cancellations. Tuesday favors an outing with friends. Wednesday night may be stressful; try not to butt heads with those near ‘n’ dear. You wake up early Thursday ready to catch up on everything.

CANCERJune 21-July 22 – On Sunday a friend might demand more of your time than is reasonable. Mercury goes retro in your solar tenth house on Monday; you might have to wait for the expected promotion or new job, since your trainer might be out. But everything looks quite sunny Monday afternoon. This week, a friend is just a magnet for luck; stick around to catch the runoff. A Friday night out (or in) with spouse n friends is just grand.

LEOJuly 23-Aug. 22 – At the beginning of the week, you may go off the deep end about life priorities; maybe you are frustrated at not juggling them as well you want. Mercury goes retro in your solar ninth house on Monday; expect snags in long trips or college plans, so have a Plan B and Plan C ready.

VIRGOAug. 23-Sept. 22 – On Sunday, you may be very upset over a letter or email; don’t jump to conclusions. Mercury goes retro in your solar eighth house on Monday; insurance mixups could occur, so keep an eagle eye on those EOB statements. On Friday, make some special plans with your mate for dinner. You’re allowed to watch cartoons with the kids on Saturday morning.

LIBRASept. 23-Oct. 22 – On Sunday you could go off the deep end over some minor checkbook error. Mercury goes retro in your solar seventh house on Monday; be especially well-prepared if you have to make public appearances or interviews. Don’t talk off the top of your head! An estate matter could finally be resolved late Tuesday.

SCORPIOOct. 23-Nov. 21 – The Moon is in Scorpio from 12:24 am Sunday till Tuesday morn. You really need to control the urge to blow things way out of proportion Sunday pm. You can work off your turbulent emotions getting lots of chores done that evening. Everything looks much sunnier Monday afternoon. On Friday, make some special plans with your mate for dinner. You’re allowed to watch cartoons with the kids on Saturday morning, but after that you will probably tackle chores around the house.

SAGITTARIUSNov. 22-Dec. 21 – On Sunday, you spend time cheering up friends in the hospital; you might even offer them a ride home Monday. The Moon is in Sag from 2:54 am Tuesday till Thursday morn. On Tuesday you manage to get someone to cover for you so you can take a day off. Wednesday night may be stressful; try not to butt heads with those near ‘n’ dear. You wake up early Thursday ready to catch up on everything.

CAPRICORNDec. 22-Jan. 19 – Monday afternoon you may receive an invite to a local event. The Moon is in Capricorn from 6:24 am Thursday till midday Saturday. Thursday afternoon can be stressful at work; a key employee may even threaten to quit. Make some conciliatory moves on Friday. Early Saturday favors a short trip, perhaps a brunch with loved ones. After that you work on the to-do list.

AQUARIUSJan. 20-Feb. 17 – Sunday may be stressful for you if family members are under the weather; rest assured that they will be well soon. Mercury goes retrograde in your solar third house, possibly the most aggravating place it could be. Just make a point of confirming appointments. The Moon enters Aquarius at 12:11 pm Saturday. The evening favors a night on the town, perhaps to visit a comedy club.

PISCESFeb. 18-March 19 – Mercury goes retro in your solar second house on Monday; be sure to note where you put things like checks, checkbooks, statements, etc. Follow up on whether refunds are processed in due time. Someone at work may have offered to help you with your tax prep, but don’t count on it happening unless you get an appointment. Wednesday night may be pretty stressful over work matters.

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
