Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 9-15, 2012

The Sun is conjunct Mercury at 8:44 am Monday, at 17 degrees Virgo. Virgos will be very busy little beavers. This conjunction can herald the arrival of people in pairs – visitors, repairmen, delivery carriers, etc. Coincidences sometimes occur under this transit, so it can be pretty interesting.

On Wednesday, Venus in Leo trines Pallas at almost 6 degrees Aries. This is very interesting because fire-sign Venus and Pallas are real self-starters – absolutely not the wallflower type! Pallas in Aries can be very creative and innovative in handcrafts or other creative pursuits, altho she often generates more ideas than she can possibly follow up on. But what she does produce is likely to be very beautiful.

Venus at 7 degrees Leo trines Uranus in Aries at 12:45 am Thursday. One is drawn to foreigners or people who have an accent, or sometimes people who are very odd in some way. One can fall madly in love under Venus-Uranus aspects, and the trine makes it likely you will stick together at least oh, four months, maybe longer. Uranus comes and goes, lights up the sky like a flash of lightning and vanishes. But he is sure a fun guy. Also pleasant surprises can pop up, or you could even find a bit of money just lying there in the parking lot.

We have a New Moon at 10:11 pm Saturday, The Moon squares Jupiter in the morning, and is conjunct Mercury the following morning. Mercury and Jupiter both rule education, with Mercury taking the younger students and Jove, the college students. Ideas and facts may be thrown at students too fast to be assimilated at first, but the kids catch on before long. Don’t be surprised if your child elects to take a double major.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.

ARIESMarch 20-April 19 – Monday’s Sun-Mercury conjunction makes the office hop with calls and appointments. The New Moon in Virgo accents your solar sixth house of work and health, both of which proper. You may invent or innovate in such a way that a business is transformed. GEMINIMay 21-June 20 – The week begins with the Moon in Gemini, but only till midday Sunday. Duty calls you Sunday morning, and that includes anything from making yourself jog, to cleaning out the closet. Monday’s Sun-Mercury conjunction brings a stream of workmen or deliveries to the house. The New Moon this weekend is good for taking a test in order to get a job, such as a civil service exam. Jupiter is in the first house for a midwestern chart of the NM, boosting your confidence and generosity of spirit. Vesta squares the Sun, challenging you with privacy issues; don’t leave your purse, checkbook, or credit cards out where anyone can poke around where they do not need to go.

CANCERJune 21-July 22 – The Moon is in Cancer from 12:49 pm Sunday till late Tuesday. Sunday afternoon is very lazy, finding you either sitting by the pool or at a matinee. Late night sports contests are likely to be frustrating, however. Early morning breakfasts with a friend Thursday can be serendipitous.

VIRGOAug. 23-Sept. 22 – Monday’s Sun-Mercury conjunction puts the microphone in your hands. The Moon is in Virgo from 5:30 am Friday till next Sunday morning. Other drivers on your Friday am commute may seem to be sleep-driving, so drive defensively. You are pleased Friday afternoon by how sensible your kids are about mapping out their ambitions. Indulge your creative talents Friday night. On Saturday, decide to save up for that special something. A New Moon in your sign Saturday night emphasizes education, where you will do very well.

Sag can be rather stressed by back-to-school time; You tend to have problems lately with being fuzzy-headed or forgetful so make lists for yourself. PISCESFeb. 18-March 19 – Monday’s Sun-Mercury conjunction finds your mate chatting up a storm, possibly in a public role or possibly in a sales capacity. A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.
