Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 16-22, 2012
By Milky Way Maid
Juno re-enters Sag at 1:50 pm Sunday, Sept. 16. I described this Juno as being extra reluctant to marry due to its extreme desire for freedom and open relationships. This Juno is wedded to its career. Sag, however, after experiencing and considering this Juno from Feb.-May of this year, and probably rejecting the idea of marriage, finds Juno once again at her doorstep and demanding entry. Juno will remain in Sag until mid-December, folks, so this issue will NOT just go away if you ignore it! Perhaps it might be worthwhile to try a long-distance commuter marriage?
Mercury enters Libra at 7:22 pm Sunday. Natal Mercury in Libra is afraid of saying the wrong thing – so much so that they may avoid confrontation and lose their integrity. But when they are able to communicate the things that NEED to be said, in a constructive way, they can re-establish the necessary balance and justice in a situation. Diplomacy, integrity and harmony all act to reinforce each other with a healthy Libra Mercury. I hasten to add that this Mercury is most liable to going back and forth weighing each factor and weighing the arguments of each side, unable to make a decision! Actually if they follow their intuitive grasp of the situation, they are usually right about what needs to be done. Let me add to all their talents that of accents; performers can adopt accents without distortion to their vocal qualities. Famous people with Mercury in Libra include actor David McCallum, Henry Ford II, Margaret Chase Smith, Queen Elizabeth I, golfer Arnold Palmer, and Al Capp.
Uranus at 6 degrees, 57′ of Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn at 1:57 am Wednesday. This aspect has been ever so slowly building up to the exact moment of the square. On top of that, Pluto goes direct the day before at that exact degree and minute. So whatever explodes or shakes, is I’m afraid probably going to be a tremendous event. It is possible that an earthquake or tsunami could occur. Given that these planets are in cardinal signs, the event could occur the day of, day after, or even the day before the exact aspect.
Mercury in Libra opposes Uranus at 6:23 pm, and Mercury squares Pluto at 7:21 pm on Thursday. This Mercury makes a nervous T-square to the devastating Uranus-Pluto square of Wednesday. On a personal level, your thinking is challenged by new facts or news. You might be tempted to respond tactlessly. Remember, make you words soft and tender, for you may have to eat them tomorrow! Your mind can work at breakneck speed today, tho sometime carelessly. But you are capable of insights which you can follow up on later.
Let’s try to get some idea of WHERE this T-square event might happen. I am not equipped to do any scans of national charts – that is a specialty I leave to others. However, what I will do is look at the New Moon chart of a week earlier for clues. One drawn for the upper Midwest shows safety (Jupiter) to the East – such as New England or the Great Lakes area, and eastern Canada. The axis of the T-square is Pluto which lies to the South-West. Is it possible that the dreaded Big One, the super-quake, could at last strike California? Or a volcanic event in Mexico again? I have to admit that the opposing, empty sign of Cancer is also a possibility as the release point of this tension. That would mean North-east, like Greenland and Iceland. Iceland has been devastated enough by the financial crisis, so I dearly hope that it will not be the site of further suffering. Interestingly, Greenland had a 6.6 quake on August 30 of this year. There was also a 7.3 quake on 11-20-1933 off Baffin Bay.
The Sun enters Libra at 10:49 am Saturday. The worst thing you can do to a Libra is ignore him/her! Libras want SOME kind of relationship with you; they want to know what you want so they can make you happy providing it, therefore they are great hosts and BTW great politicians. They deeply want to be fair, altho they can get mixed up by confusing equality with fairness. High need for approval and appreciation. Has a high artistic sensitivity and music appreciation. Can be very fastidious in dress. A love of justice. Appreciates kindness and shows good manners. Many famous dancers were born under Libra: Rita Hayworth, Ben Vereen, Fayard Nicholas (of the Nicholas brothers), Arthur Duncan, Juliet Prowse. Other famous Librans include Pres. Eisenhower, Ed Sullivan, Julie Andrews, Johnny Carson, Helen Hayes, Mohandas Gandhi, Eleanor Roosevelt, and John Lennon.
