Halloween, October 2007

Halloween is perfect astrologically for getting in touch with the inner wisdom. This can mean developing your psychic abilities or just meditating. Just do it, indeed! If you can, light a white candle or incense first, or just whisper a prayer of protection, then ask your spirit guides to point out the right path. (A spirit guide can be Jesus, a saint or your beloved grandmother.) Meditation and journaling are good ways to pay attention to quiet, stray thoughts that may be your shy guide trying to get a word in edgewise. Those in Eastern time zones may find the hour before their regular working day to be most effective. Some good recent books are “Intuition Made Easy” and “Suddenly Psychic: A Skeptic’s Journey.” Another good read is ‘The Complete A to Z’ online free at www.psychic-junkie.com/list-of-psychic-abilities.html. At About, you can find simple experiments to practice your ESP, at http://paranormal.about.com/library/weekly/aa070802a.htm. Check out this website http://dearbrutus.com/ and click on How to Channel, then read the essay on Channeling Spirit Guides.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Ann Miller – You love costume parties and masks so please find some local event to attend. Your significant other fascinates you with a most unusual costume at a most unusual event. Do you have something on the calendar re a guild or fraternity party? Do go, and have a blast. Sorry I can’t suggest a costume, because you have your own unique inspiration this year.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Audrey Hepburn – A foreign film or a touring hit show is more appealing to you on Halloween than a party. The party scene will seem so dull to you in comparison, and you know you will eat way too much candy. You get your dose of partying earlier at a company event, and that provides enough laughs for the week. But if hubby insists you go to a party, try impersonating a Hollywood love goddess, like J Lo, Pamela, or Garbo.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Henry LeTang – It’s no fun just sitting alone in your room…and besides, at parties there’s lots of people to talk to. You can tell the same story five times in a night and make it sound different each time. And I think you can talk one of those listeners into taking you out for dinner another night. Need costume ideas? Probably a reporter or talk-show host. Use a microphone or notepad as props, a press card in your hatband. Impersonate Oprah or Cronkite.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Rasta Thomas – Tues-Wed are your best days this month. Your child’s teacher may be well-meaning in discouraging your child (or you!) from a life in the arts, but you will have to set him or her straight as diplomatically as possible. Seek better sources of guidance at the college’s information desk. For Halloween, I suggest the queens of history as a theme. Marie Antoinette with her neck ringed in red. Cleopatra with a rubber snake on her arm.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Mata Hari – Halloween lets you be a kid again. The whole family has fun together. Don’t ask me whether to go out or stay in, because your spirit makes anything great fun this week. November feels like it gets off to a good start for you, Leo. Just eat lightly Friday at lunch because otherwise you will be nodding off. A piece of news or a package finally comes thru late in the day. It is something that the whole family will be glad to hear. Costume: movie star of course.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Gene Kelly – You are not too sure about all this begging for treats and dashing around in costumes. It seems far too excessive to you, and you have to force yourself to accept a small orange-frosted cupcake. You might be one of those who actually looks back to the ancient sacred traditions this year. Honor the lares and penates at the family altar, and burn candles for the dead. Try chanting, drumming, communing with the Universal Mind. Costume? A Greek goddess.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Juliet Prowse – Many Librans feel that fall is their favorite time of year. Painting and photography are favored this week as you try to catch the last autumn harvest scenes. For Halloween, you favor a hearth fire. Maybe the cauldron holds a real fish boil outdoors instead of eye of newt. You can tell guests that the potatoes are eyeballs and the carrots are troll toes. Costume idea: fish or mermaid, maybe Ariel with legs.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Eleanor Powell – Ooh, your favorite holiday is this week. You can dress up as yourself, Queen of the Night. Or maybe as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. You want it all — A) the spectacular bonfire in the neighborhood (don‘t forget the marshmallows), B) the terrific party (by the pool if possible), with lots of games and laughs, and if we can get a couple people together for a C) séance or a spoon-bending orgy, oh would that be cool. This could be the best Halloween ever.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Sammy Davis, Jr. – You’re in such a sociable mood Monday in the line for coffee that you hardly get to work on time. The life of the party is supposed to wait till Halloween for the fun and games to start, but you’re warming up the crowd early. Make sure the boss doesn’t catch you spinning a story at the water cooler. Any costume that lets you wear red is OK with you, you devil you.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – George Balanchine – When you get the psychic flashes, they’re usually about which stock to buy or sell. No silly messages from the beyond for you, you want the inside scoop. As for Halloween, you have two equally appealing plans. Plan A is the local pub crawl till the witching hour. Plan B is camping out with a real fire, telling ghost stories and watching your Significant Other moon-dance. If you’re forced to attend a costume event, the outdoorsman is probably You. A wood-chopper or maybe Red Green, complete with suspenders.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Gregory Hines – After this week, we will call you Oracle. You ran through all the lessons online. You can’t wait to tell people what card they chose. You’ll have ordered the business cards already. Play Karnac the Magnificent at your party, or any of the 800-number psychics — complete with crystal ball.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Marius Petipa – Actually, you are not much for play this week, and you don‘t feel like being in public place this Halloween. I see you spending the holiday holed up at work. Possibly you work in a bar or other business that depends on revelers, and so this is just another work day for you. That’s OK, someone has to pour the beers and keep the tone light and fluffy. Costume ideas: political figures? Nixon is a classic; try to master the hunched shoulders.

October 22, 2007

Thursday is such a hot-button day. Innocent phrases can be blown way out of proportion, especially in the early morn. Meditate on the feeling of harmony before retiring Wednesday, so as to get the day off on the right foot. If a rift occurs, and you really want to get together again, try the forty day affirmation. Simply say this every day to yourself three times, for 40 day straight: “I’m sorry for everything I’ve done to you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me.” Focus on the bond you had between you two. Do not call or write. A shift will occur.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop.

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Serge Lifar – Your best days this month are midweek. But check to make sure you have your instructions clear before starting a Wed. project, or you could wind up starting over. Thursday is much better, in fact you may be up during the wee hours sketching out the details of a project. You get the thumbs up or down that afternoon. Someone at work cries on your shoulder — be nice because he or she just might introduce you to the love of your life.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Shirley MacLaine – Many late hours are spent on your project; you finally know how you’re going to finish that outline and so you push ahead. Make time for a neighborhood sport or spa pick-me-up. A special dinner Thursday or Friday is favored, provided you can tear yourself away from your sudden popularity. A challenge succumbs to your charm early Friday, or to your personal attention at a luncheon.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Bill “Bojangles” Robinson – Start planning the holidays now to avoid  getting loaded down with debt that you will still be paying off in 2008. Hide your credit card from yourself. Negotiate a pull-names-from-a-hat gift exchange instead of shopping for the whole clan. Part of your problem could be house repairs eating your paycheck; try trading services or listing requests on freecycle or at work. An avocation can become a career with key backing by certain women in your life.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Twyla Tharp – Burning up some calories at the gym keeps you in a good mood. Keeping to a schedule helps you chip away at a big job – this could be a writing project. Write a part for yourself — you know what you do best, so go do it. It worked for Sylvester Stallone! Mysteries of one kind or another are always an audience draw.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Leonide Massine – An unexpected money gift falls into your lap. Could be a modest lottery win, could be a gift or loan from Mom. It’s difficult choosing from the offers tossed your way. One good one involves film or music and will put you in the public eye. Another involves playing a biography – possibly you know the writer – and this is a good one, too.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Mitzi Gaynor – You have had the benefit of a partnership for some time. But now you want to take the training wheels off, so to speak, and try riding on your own power. Step out on your own, visit customers without the team leader, etc. It isn’t as easy as it looked, right? Show some appreciation for all the help you’ve been extended. Many of us are frustrated and under a strain, and a Sunday getaway to a quiet place in the country would do everyone a lot of good.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Arthur Duncan – More email than you know what to do with is clogging your in-box. Set up some filters to weed out the spam, and possibly you could use some part-time help to handle mail. Check online for management tips and tools, because your schedule is filling up with speaking dates. Organization is key. Spend some downtime catching up on films you missed, or attend a film festival. Work the plots into your speaking notes to illustrate your points.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Savion Glover – The week brings a chance to get to the bottom of someone’s half-hearted cooperation. Invite him or her over for dinner; an informal setting may help you both to speak more frankly. Also you get a boost in energies for the next month. Writing projects are favored especially if you start Tues. pm. Reserve that time to start, edit, or pitch your project. Add a grain of salt to any compliments received, but do take to heart any helpful criticism.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Hermes Pan – You like excess, but it could be your downfall if you let it affect your health. Visit a nutritionist or health food store for tips on keeping up your energy. Don’t wait for a wake-up call. Eat at home before going to the flicks so you are not tempted by the concession stand. You recharge your batteries at the pool or lake; swimming and canoeing amid the fall color sounds great.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Debbie Allen – What you need comes your way this fall, altho you have to go out and get it. Try listing wants on the internet or swapping books in online clubs. Enjoy Friday’s Super Moon (a Full Moon at closest approach to Earth) by touching base with harvest festivals, spending quality time with a spouse, or making Chinese moon cakes. Recipes are at Cooks.com http://www.cooks.com/rec/search/0,1-0,moon_cake,FF.html

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Mikhail Baryshnikov – Bettering the world by bringing more tolerance and benevolent altruism is a worthy subject for a full moon meditation. Then go out and find some petitions to sign and circulate. Democracy is not a spectator sport. Offer to moderate or write questions for a local political debate.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Rudolf Nureyev – Kicking over the traces is not a real good idea for you. Try to imagine yourself walking a mile in the other’s shoes each day until the urge to leave dissipates. The week is best for solitary hikes and drives to the country, sitting by waterfalls and painting still lifes (probably with a lot of angry reds and oranges). Learning to be your own best friend is a lifetime project. Visiting Mom or Mom-in-law can give you lots of insights.

Third Week October 2007

Finding someone to swap things with may be a little tricky this week, but if you plan things out, it can be a lot of fun. If  you are willing to do a three-way swap, that will work out best for all concerned. This brings to mind the classic story of the office’s one new word processor. Should it go to the one who has the oldest or the one who ranks highest? What they decided to do is give it to the one with the newest, who then passed down his model to the one with the next newest, and so forth. That way, everyone got a newer model, and no one felt overlooked. This works best in small offices, of course. But the principle can be applied to many situations.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Sergei Diaghilev – You’re full of energy for home projects this month. That might include helping with picking or processing the fruits of the earth, even if your have to make a drive to a pick-your-own farm. You’ll find this really recharges your batteries, and this fact might surprise you. You never thought of yourself as a nature boy. But working with your spouse, especially, brings an unexpected pleasure and closeness.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Helen Tamiris – You connect with goddess energy this month, Earthchild that you are. Check out spiral goddess.com again and read Ceres and Juno, especially. Meditating on these archetypes renews your spirits and clarifies your values – Try making yourself a goddess mask with help from the directions on the website. The weekend looks good for getting answers about your career direction if you incubate a dream; see dream.ca

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Isadora Duncan – Tues-Wed are treacherous for taking on debt. Are you sure you need those items, or are you buying just so can brag about having them? The month has really been productive for artistic pursuits, especially if you act, paint, or take photos. You’re so multi-talented that you probably do all three, and then three more. You’ll soon meet the right agent to promote your art.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Bob Fosse – A social meeting this week with a trusted advisor, or with Mom, gives you strong encouragement in regards to your creative goals. Invite a woman friend to see your latest work in progress, or stage a reading. Wednesday you feel like getting out for a drive. You may find the lake cottage appealing; take along the easel or camera to capture images for a later project.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Leonide Massine – The purse strings loosen up a tiny bit this week, tho I hesitate to tell you this because you might go out and really blow the budget. But having a cozy get-together at the house with just girlfriends would really be fun. Artistic pursuits continue to grow and feed an increasingly glamorous public image. Tuesday is the key day this week for creative careers, and Saturday can be a decision day. Debut a new play or showing, and be sure to circulate.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Lola Falana – Sunday or Monday you sit down and have that chat you’ve been putting off – the one where you finally say that you won’t stand for being treated like a doormat. Try to do it tactfully of course. Friday brings encouraging news or a “thinking of you” card. Saturday night is great for incubating a dream – try asking for healing or insight on health issues. Check out dreams.ca for instructions.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Fayard Nicholas – Mom lectures you (again) about the way you spend money (like water); tell yourself she cares. The weekend is a good time to make a decision about closing one chapter of your life and starting another. It’s nice to be the one who is in control rather than having a decision forced on you. Saturday night is great for experimenting with incubating a dream, especially in regards to artistic inspiration. Check out dreams.ca for free instructions on this technique.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Eleanor Powell – Try not to be too bossy this week because you will tend to sound like Lucy Van Pelt; offer suggestions, not orders. While you would love to make a killing in the market, slow and steady is the word. Wednesday is great for recharging your batteries at the pool or lake; bring a lady friend, too. Friday is a good day to put in your grant proposal, or get an update from the committee.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Merrill Ashley – Monday is likely to be a frustrating day: the boss is harping on the costly technical bill. Try to find shareware for free. List your wants with internet traders. You’ll find Tuesday much better, starting with a lovely dream in the early am, and a productive late lunch with the boss. Research or study turns up the “true facts” Tues. evening. The weekend will be good for thinking about your next move.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Moira Shearer – Midweek are your best days all month. A small honor or congratulatory message comes thru on Wednesday. Also a close relative introduces a charming fiancee to you, and you are all too happy to welcome her to the family. The weekend favors seeking clarity about things like abundance and excess; maybe you feel moved to make an endowment or something that will live on after you.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Ruth St. Denis – Continue to guard your health thru the end of the year. Continue your regimen and be sure to get health screenings. Look for activities that recharge your batteries and give you a lift. Friday afternoon thru the weekend are your best days all month — A Saturday charitable or fraternal event will raise your spirits, and you could get good news re grant funding.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Cyd Charisse – Your emotions are channeled easily into artistic pursuits this month. Energy and warm tints pour into your creative imagery. The temporary writer’s block is overcome and you can finish the book or play by early November. It may help to have some friends over to do a reading to see how the dialogue works. I would skip the writers’ retreat; you’ll only feel more lost and isolated. But if it is a place where everyone feels comfortable giving productive feedback, then it could be very helpful.

Second Week October 2007

The week can find many of us caught in contentious exchanges over how best to accomplish a goal. Yet this is a fertile time for constructive and creative innovations. Do all your regular shopping before the weekend as it will be crazy then, and you will just return most of it anyway when it doesn’t match or fit when you get it home. Instead of shopping, spend a little time on a New Moon affirmation: this one is called “The Divine Abodes”:
May all living beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May we all be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May we always rejoice in the happiness of others. May we abide in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop.

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Buddy Ebsen – A community theatre project that puts on a classic play will be favored, especially Monday. Midweek are your worst days this month – loan, banking or insurance matters suffer glitches. Personally, it seems like you went into overdrive last week and now you’re being told to wait. Spinning your wheels is not your style at all. This is why you always like to have your own projects to work on when customers put you on hold.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Margot Fonteyn – Digging down, way down for the meaning behind earth myths can provide creative material for you. Stories like Persephone, torn between her mother Demeter and Hades, have provided an avenue for many levels of meaning and understanding. It explains the seasons, and it also inspires a personal renaissance after a period of seclusion. The weekend does not favor you; sleep on decisions or consult with advisors.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Henry LeTang – Your skill at thinking on your feet comes in handy this week. Make sure you have your reports ready for the boss, but check online to see if any relevant news bulletins have been posted. Career matters are progressing better than you think, even if you are left to hold the fort alone at times. Your partner is a tremendous boon to you thru mid-December, especially at getting you favorable press attention. Show your appreciation.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Gower Champion – You go into beaver mode, busy at work and play and home, especially home. An earthy friend inspires you to honor the seasons by attending or engaging in harvest activities. Kids and creative projects all keep you running this month with unplanned emergencies – nothing major! But you may have to chat with the principal of the school regarding backup contacts.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Mata Hari – The keyword now is caution, and I know you don’t like to hear anyone tell you to be cautious. But I hope you have a Plan B if transportation or other issues arise. Strikes that do not affect you directly still affect you indirectly. The good news is that your backer is excited about a progressive project, provided that the needed labor is contracted for.

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Thierry Sirou – Someone calls in your marker for a favor. There is the opportunity for some creative dickering over the terms, so be flexible. You are not in as strong a position to negotiate as you might wish; taking a male friend to vouch for you might be a good idea. On the creative front, Virgo is associated with textile arts. Take a class in weaving or knitting, investigate raising sheep; one woman even spun her dog’s shed hair into yarn.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Ben Vereen – You find needed materials in a seemingly fated way, possibly through chance meetings. Post a ‘wish list’ in the lunchroom Mon., and on Craig’s List too. In fact, I recommend writing a wish list Thurs. of things you want to accomplish this month; let it incubate. Intent is a powerful force in itself. The 9-10-11 are your best days in Oct. Computing updates are on the agenda; systematically shore up security’s weakest links. Software that lets you play improves your newsletters and creates joy.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Savion Glover – Friday and the weekend provide your best days of the month – Research and investigations unearth findings that change the whole strategy of a case. Go back for second interviews; I am sure that more probing questions will turn up useful information. Classic works find favor this weekend whether presented as written or updated. PS – The grant money may dry up if you wait too long – make follow-up calls. Tips for the month: Back up everything, save receipts, don’t delete, have a Plan B.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – June Taylor – Innovation is on your mind this week, and possibly you latch on to creative breakthroughs tailored to your needs. Monday and Tuesday are best for presenting or installing new approaches. Messages can mysteriously get mis-delivered so get in the habit of following up. Your life rather resembles an arcade game this month, with you hitting tilt and jackpot, etc. All these chills and thrills provide great material for your next project.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Alvin Ailey – Homemaking may be your best outlet for creativity this month. I picture you putting up food for the winter, canning and freezing, in a frenzy of domesticity. The orange tree in back yields gallons of marmalade, which you swap for eggs, goat cheese or homemade wine. The gentleman farmer thing was good enough for Jefferson, and it appeals to you, too. You like being self-reliant. Also visit spiralgoddess.com to touch base with Ceres, the goddess of the harvest.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Gregory Hines – Your dreams seem to take on a life of their own now, rejuvenated as they are by this month’s New Moon. You can gain a partner, possibly a brotherly type, at month’s end. Be clear on what you want to accomplish with this new venture. Career matters get put on hold or re-evaluated. Get things down on signed contracts before Friday if you are what you want, otherwise you will be waiting weeks for a resolution.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Tommy Tune – Your urge to innovate and renovate is keen now, and proposals may be pitched this week. Making the sale may be difficult, as you may have to offer a trial period or do other tweaks to make your system work with their format. Help arrives in the form of a legal or other advocate. This advocate can make relatively quick work of labor or other disputes if you are willing to back up anything he or she proposes.

First Week October 2007

Have you fed your daimon today? A few weeks ago I talked about introducing Passion to Love to create Art. This week could see the commencement of a Grand Passion. Fire and Ice provide an age-old fascination. In other matters, tempers cool off enough so people can actually discuss things in a civilized and productive way. PS – I see a lot of charts with financial issues over electronic banking. Check that fees haven’t changed, and find out just how long it is taking to pay that bill. I learned that not all banks have agreements with all vendors, so a payment you thought was instant could take 5 days to credit you.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop

Aries – March 20-April 19 – Ann Miller – Aries doesn’t mind fights with a spouse because making up is so much fun. But really, too much fighting takes away from the good times, and it is getting to the point where the dissension is affecting your health. Buy some flowers on the way home Wed., and start regular ‘business meetings’ to defuse problems before they escalate.

Taurus – April 20-May 20 – Fred Astaire – Are you starting a managing position for an arts board or box office? Responsibility is tossed onto your broad shoulders. Review press releases to maximize effectiveness. Perhaps sending electronic releases will allow active links to interviews and rehearsal clips. These innovative enhancements might also be effective in grant applications.

Gemini – May 21-June 20 – Bill “Bojangles” Robinson – Sun-Mon I see you trying to cheer yourself up with a dose of ‘shop therapy.’ You’ll feel even bluer when the bills come in… so instead of shopping I suggest visiting a free art exhibit or a New Age treatment (massage, chanting). And if that doesn’t work, a classic movie does wonders – whether a weepie or comedy.

Cancer – June 21-July 22 – Rasta Thomas – Tues. pm something really gets your goat, but I am sure you are too smart to let it ruin relationships. Best to channel that energy to tackle a really ugly job. You may get an apology late that night and you’ll be glad you didn’t mouth off. This whole week, push ahead on creative projects with unique ways to express an ideal. Wed. is serendipitous — try out different lighting or electronic effects.

Leo – July 23-Aug. 22 – Leonide Massine – You have many offers to consider this fall, and might be tempted to jump at one of them. Don’t lock yourself into a long-term contract. Wednesday am a lightning bolt of inspiration hits. Play with the pieces Thurs. and look at it again Fri., possibly with a trusted colleague. Once you’ve made the selection, work into the weekend before the final image fades from your brain. Inspiration can be such a slave-driver, hey?

Virgo – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Marge Champion – A long period of hard work with long hours stretch out in front of you. Your dealings with foundations on one hand and with media on the other will perform well this week. My long term concern is with you overworking yourself. It is fine to rake in the money now that you are in demand, but not so fun to fork it over to medical practitioners later. Keep to your old regime and you’ll be fine.

Libra – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Michael Smuin – Your self-image is glowing this month. Is it making you look for greener pastures? You feel on the verge of walking out on one employer, but your restlessness will soon prompt you to leave again. Perhaps self-limiting engagements, where you sign on for just one production, are better for you now. On the monetary front, make sure you understand how long it will take your electronic banking to clear, and if there’s new fees.

Scorpio – Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Eleanor Powell – You have a great, lively long-distance relationship going. Things may be difficult due to ‘house rules’ of some kind, so you may have to switch to private messages to keep things going. Your creativity takes off again this week just take care it doesn’t take your budget with it. Clear purchases with bookkeeping because they may not reimburse all of it.

Sagittarius – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Alexander Godunov – Mon. and Tues. are your worst days of the month; you’re tempted to buy peace from an opponent or dissatisfied partner. You know that problems are not solved just by throwing money at them. Everyone feels they are not getting the information they need; make sure all parties are in the loop and ask for patience from all concerned.

Capricorn – Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – George Balanchine – Midweek will be challenging when a partner goes on the warpath. I’ve no idea if this is a business or personal partner, but giving a rose to your spouse Wednesday might be a very good idea. Continue to tweak a new system. It produces results, and tensions ease at work.

Aquarius – Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Mikhail Baryshnikov – Fri.-Sat. will probably be your worst days of the month. No disasters loom, but I don‘t see you getting the credit you deserve. On the plus side, this month may bring news of that grant from a foundation or fraternal organization. Also your health improves this month, possibly as a result of a sound regimen and good advice taken.

Pisces – Feb. 18-March 19 – Marius Petipa – A great time for Pisces now, especially midweek. Dance particularly gets favorable reviews and national exposure, but other arts too find support in the media. The public might be slow to appreciate new works, preferring classics, so troupes will have their work cut out enticing sales with publicity and performance clips.

A gift to my lovely readers —

As a special gift to my readers I thought you might enjoy some background music. A terrific writer and geek found these archived radio recordings of the Beatles for a Swedish radio show way back when. He cleaned them up a bit and edited them, and here they are. Five songs in cool condition. So turn up the volume alright already.

Please visit them at the address above or at their index page at http://throwbackfootballjerseys.net/index.php. Lots and lots of high-quality clothing with beautiful renditions of sports logos. THE place to go for team wear for you and your pet. Thanks again.
