The Sun is conjunct a retrograde Mercury at 8:35 am Friday, at 11 degrees Virgo. Retracing your steps, figuratively speaking, may be the order of the day. Make note of stock market direction today; does it retrace its steps from last month, or crabstep sideways? With Virgo here, I am thinking that discovery of minor errors in paperwork will hold up deals and so forth. Also I suggest trying to get any forms through the licensing department well before this day, so that they are not held up in the worst of bureaucratic nightmares.
Venus trines Neptune overnight Fri-Sat. Very lovely, probably not too realistic but who cares? Take a date out to the movies or somewhere very romantic and whisper all the sweet nothings you can muster. Goes well with wine.

We have a New Moon at 25 degrees Libra on Sunday at 1:33 am. The Moon promptly goes void-of-course, however this is a usable opportunity period a half hour before and after the exact opposition. Libra New Moons put the emphasis on learning to be fair in all areas of your life. You may have an opportunity to draw out information from others to help you make informed, intelligent decisions. Libra (ideally) gives as much as it takes. Too much giving OR too much taking in a relationship is unbalanced and draining. With kindness and understanding you can act to correct that imbalance and restore your emotional equilibrium.
Mercury in Libra trines Jupiter in Aquarius on Tuesday afternoon at 5:49 ET. This favors the study of law, religion, philosophy and other heavy-duty material. It favors any business transaction, including real estate. It favors seeing a counselor or mentor for sound advice.
The Sun enters Scorpio early Friday. Happy birthday to all the deep, mysterious, fascinating Scorpios! The Sun’s first aspect is a sextile to co-ruler Pluto, which seems pretty auspicious for your personal year. Your efforts at everything from research to self-transformation to empowerment should all see encouraging results. And you might even latch onto a new mystery writer you love, too.
Mercury is inconjunct Uranus and trine Neptune on Saturday. The inconjunct to Uranus is sometimes a symptom of the inability to concentrate; people jump from one idea to another or one task to another without finishing. Green “Comet of Cooperation” Lulin in Sign of Libra; How PERFECT is That?

How intriguing a year this is. A green comet is discovered and is brightening into an international superstar. It is in the sign Libra, and appropriately enough it is dubbed the “comet of cooperation” because it was discovered in a cooperative effort between China and Taiwan. Stars are frequently colored, but I am not familiar with any other colored comets. What is the significance of this green comet passing thru Libra?
Green: Money. Ecology. Spring. Life. All of them apply when trying to assess the meaning of this comet and its course thru the sky.

Fourth Week of April 2008

Happy birthday to all the Taureans as the Sun enters your sign this week! Taurus natives include Martha Graham, Fred Astaire, Margot Fonteyn, Helen Tamiris, Shirley MacLaine, Audrey Hepburn — and those are just the dancers! Saturn and Pluto having just entered the other earth signs, trining your Sun, and Jupiter is already in Virgo. The first two can be tough taskmasters, but if you have learned the major lessons of life, you should be in a position to reap the rewards of working in harmony with the Earth. In other news, the planet Pluto and the asteroid Juno become an odd couple for most of the year as they travel in close company. Juno lingers at the very end of Sagittarius and Pluto just entered Capricorn in late January. This will likely force partners to re-evaluate their relationship, and evolve into something healthier. Whether actual psychotherapy or counseling is involved, is up to you. But I feel that working on the relationship issues will bring about a much richer, rewarding and more productive level by fall.

A T-square between Mars in Cancer, Venus in Aries and Jupiter in Capricorn is in place this week. You may hold on to your house in spite of the crisis, but could very well cost you much more in monthly payments.
