I have been a reader of your books, though not for as many years as I would have liked. With regard to the theories posited in Catastrophobia and in The Mayan Code, I believe I have found some interesting material that intermeshes with yours.

Mars at 7 degrees Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn at 4:41 pm Monday. War drums are beating. Pres. Obama has been saber-rattling about Libya, who has not posed any direct threat to us and has not attacked us. Pallas Athena is sextile Mars, also Juno at 15 Virgo was recently inconjunct that Aries stellium — so I wonder if Madame Hillary talked him into this ill-advised move. Threatening an invasion of this north-African country is just playing into the hands of the oil speculators (Neptune just entered Pisces on April 4), and angers all its Muslim neighbors. (Mars and Pluto both are associated with the military, Mars with the police as well.) Saturn opposes retrograde Mercury, Mars and Jupiter; I don’t see any military operation going well under those aspects. Intel might be inaccurate yet again, or the American people may be lied to (yet again).
Retrograde Mercury and Jupiter are conjunct at 17 degrees of Aries at 11:59 pm Monday. Jupiter is the higher octave of Mercury in terms of education; Mercury is practical how-to knowledge, and Jove is theoretical knowledge, such as in college or in research labs. You may be able to efficiently organize a plan, but take not to overlook important details! Retrograde Mercury can bite you in the behind if you do. You may think you are infallible, but ha, ha, Mercury the trickster laughs at you.
Hey folks, I was being facetious when I suggested that the Aries ingress chart (March 20) shows people marrying for money. Lighten up a little, we need a few jokes in these tense times.

Mars’ redness may be due to natural nuclear explosion

According to a new report from a senior propulsion scientist at Orbital Technologies Corp., Mars’ redness may be linked to a nuclear past. In a story that has been picked up by AOL news service, this hypothesis is supported by the presence of radioactive materials still found on the planet surface.

“A natural nuclear reaction could have occurred on our own planet — and could happen again, said Dr. John Brandenburg, a senior propulsion scientist at Orbital Technologies Corp.

‘ “The Martian surface is covered with a thin layer of radioactive substances including uranium, thorium and radioactive potassium — and this pattern radiates from a hot spot [on Mars],” Brandenburg told FoxNews.com.”

Very interesting article. Let’s hope that funding is successfully sought for a mission to Mars to verify this hypothesis. Article may be read at:

Your Milky Way Horoscope Aug. 22-28, 2010

The Sun enters Virgo at 1:27 am Monday, the sign of the iconic maiden holding a sheaf of wheat. The woman in the symbol for Virgo has changed over the millennia from a girl of perhaps fifteen to an old maid of forty or so. Perhaps this is related to the precession? I read somewhere that the sign on the Spring Equinox used to be Virgo, when people planted their wheat. Now Virgo occurs in the fall, closer to the harvest. Is this change the reason for the alternation in the age of the archetype? I will have to put out a paper on this later, when I get my sources together.
