The Sun at 27 degrees Leo sextiles Mars in Libra at 5:45 pm Monday. A good day for tryouts for team sports at the school you or your child will attend this fall. It’s also a good time to initiate projects, get the ball rolling on things like signing up for courses, the PTA, or just having one more cookout party before fall. Mars is muted by being near Saturn, so this is not as energizing a transit as it should be – but because Mars is separating from the conjunction, Mars is picking up steam oh so slowly.

 

Happy Birthday, Virgo! The Sun enters Virgo at 1:07 pm Wednesday, sextile the Moon in Scorpio and opposite Neptune in Pisces. The Moon is rising in an ingress chart set for the Midwest, and the Part of Fortune at 10 Capricorn is in the third house, accenting education. (The Moon trines Neptune and sextiles Pluto the same day.) Later the same day, Mercury sextiles Jupiter, helping all the new students learn their lessons in school. (Yes, I know that no one except a few college kids will be in class or even at orientation, but the ingress is probably good for the month.) Vesta and Ceres are near Jupiter in the eighth house, helping obtain tuition loans.

LEO – July 23-Aug. 22 – Monday’s Sun-Mars trine boosts your initiative and energy; a good time to introduce yourself to those few people who do not know who you are. The Sun enters your solar second house, energizing cash flow especially if you are in a field where you deal directly with people. The Mercury-Jupiter sextile Wednesday night favors attending that club meeting or hanging with friends. Midday Saturday’s Mercury trine favors lots of fun and chatter.

 

VIRGO – Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo Sunday. The Moon semi-sextiles Saturn, the Sun, and Mars in the pm, favoring plans to retire debts and manage accounts. Your ruler Mercury makes a pleasant sextile to the Moon Monday night, whispering good financial news. The Sun enters your sign on Wednesday, which generally lends a feeling of well-being and ease. You might look forward to going back to school this fall. Friday’s frustrating T-square affects you personally, and confusion reigns.

 

LIBRA – Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from 12:45 am Monday till early Wednesday. A “change agent” type may upset your plans for Monday afternoon. The Moon-Neptune trine about 7 am Wed. promises an interesting dream if you roll over for some more shut-eye. Early risers might express their creative energies in art or music. SAGITTARIUS – Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from 6:50 am Friday till next Sunday morn.
